Workshop: Land the Plane

Restore team cohesion and forward motion where initiatives feel stuck due to poor alignment and swirl.

This workshop is designed for leaders responsible for bridging the gap between executive strategy and on-the-ground execution.

Every leader of a complex team will eventually bump up against altitude problems: the friction that occurs when there is a gap between how the leader sees the landscape and how the team experiences it on the ground.

As complexity, scale, and pace increase, this gap widens. Leaders and teams start flying at different levels of context. The result is a breakdown in coherence—the sense that everyone understands the same picture and is pulling in the same direction.

Without coherence, context fails to cascade, alignment becomes brittle, and momentum slows.

Shaped by a decade working with the CFO's executive team at Google, this workshop is designed to diagnose where alignment breaks down and strengthen communication upstream and downstream using a two-part framework called AIR + CRAFT.

Ways to Engage

I am applying this framework in two formats for 2026.

01. The Pilot Lab (60-Minute Session)
A small-group working session for “Bridge Builders” (Chiefs of Staff, Strategy & Operations leads, and executives navigating scale).

  • The Focus: We’ll use the AIR + CRAFT framework to surface where communication is becoming especially “lossy” and work through strategies to address it within the context of a real initiative that’s currently dragging.

  • Format: Small group (4-6 people), virtual.

  • Cost: Free, in exchange for candid feedback as this format is refined.

  • Next Date: February 2026.

02. Team Workshops (Deep Dive)
For executive teams or departments who want to resolve alignment breakdowns around a major initiative or on a more systemic basis.

  • The Focus: A half-day or full-day engagement applying AIR + CRAFT to your current strategy and operating reality.

  • What you can expect: Outcomes will be tailored to your context, but typically include:

    • Identifying where communication is breaking down across levels

    • Surfacing blind spots in how leaders understand the on-the-ground experience

    • Designing a low-lift plan to restore clarity, alignment, and momentum via more robust communication channels and messaging strategies
